Learn how to import assets into a Unity project from the Unity Assets store, third-party assets stores, and developer-made custom assets.
Wednesday, June 11, 11a - 12:30 p.m. - Unity: Controlling Animations (Class 3)
Animate the Player game object and learn to use Unity's Animation System.
Wednesday, June 11, 1p - 3:00 p.m. - Unity: Creating an Environment (Class 4)
Learn to use Unity's Terrain and Lighting Tools while creating a virtual environment for your game.
Thursday, June 12, 11a - 12:30 p.m. - Unity: UI Basics (Class 5)
Learn how to use Unity's UI creation tools and game objects to create a User Interface for your game.
Thursday, June 12, 1p - 3:00 p.m. - Unity: Programming Basics (Class 6)
Learn to code a custom behavior in Unity with C-Sharp. During this class we will declare, initialize, and execute custom variables and functions to make a game object move and change colors.
Friday, June 13, 11a - 12:30 p.m. - Unity: Programming Character Locomotion (Class 7)
Program the player game object to move, and jump while learning the basics of programming custom behaviors for your game objects with C Sharp (C#) in Unity.
Friday, June 13, 1p - 3:00 p.m. - Unity: Programming a Third-Person Camera (Class 8)
Create a third-person point of view and learn how to set Cinemachine and program the player game object to rotate in reference to the point of view.
Saturday, June 14, 11a - 12:30 p.m. - Unity: Programming Input Actions (Class 9)
Program Actions to collect values from input devices and trigger the Player game object's behaviors with an Input Action Asset in Unity.
Saturday, June 14, 1p - 3:00 p.m. - Unity: Triggering Events (Class 10)
Learn how to set up colliders as triggers and create interactions among objects in your game.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
