The Community School of the Arts (CSA) invites you to a summer art experience with a set of curated art projects for students. Recommended for ages 3-18.
Join us for an inspiring and joy-filled summer as we explore The Art of Hawai‘i (pronounced huh-wah-ee, spelled Hawaii in English).
Registration opens on Monday, April 21st at 10am. For more information on the event, https://www.womeninthearts.org/csa-2024.
Through hands-on artmaking and creative discovery, students will dive into the rich culture, vibrant landscapes, delicious food, meaningful customs, and artistic contributions of the Hawaiian Islands.
This journey includes four weekly online lessons, an art bin with supplies, and links to extend the adventure through related reading and resource materials from the Library and museum collections. All together, we’ll celebrate the conclusion of the program with an in-person awards reception and a joyful Aloha Celebration—featuring island music, hula, and Hawaiian fun!
The program starts June 21st and it has been prepared by instructors at Women in the Arts, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Each lesson is posted on Saturdays at 10am at womeninthearts.org, starting June 21st thru July 19th.
Upon registering you will receive a confirmation email. Due to the popularity of the program, it may fill up fast and your student may be placed on a wait list. Please add womeninthearts@gmail.com to your contact list to prevent important messages and reminders from being sent to your spam folder.
