Online Class: Let's Embroider Sweater Weather Hoop (2 Parts)

Online Fiber Arts ClassroomLearn a faux knit stitch as we create a comfy cozy holiday wall hangings in this two part class. Stitch a mini sweater to give as a gift, or keep for yourself!
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.
- Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Embroider Level 2
- Required Skills: Preparing a hoop, straight, running, and satin stitch, finishing
- Materials Fee: None
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- 6 inch (15 cm) or 7 inch (18 cm) Hand Embroidery Hoop
- Size 3 Embroidery Needle
- 10x10 inch (25 cm) to 12x12 inch (30 cm) light colored Cotton Fabric
- Cotton Embroidery Floss (up to 3 colors)
- Scissors
- A method for transferring the pattern (washable markers, chalk, stick and stitch, transfer paper, etc.)
*If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials you have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.
