Get ready for a unique community balloon workshop featuring a stunning “Under the Sea” display to welcome summer at your library. Apply your skills, learn new techniques and create eye-catching décor!

Instructor approval is required to be a student in this class. Please call 407-835-7323 and leave contact information for the instructor.

An exciting opportunity to bring your skills to the next level by applying what you’ve learned in class while exploring new techniques and creative styles in balloon décor. From eye-catching marine elements to a full event-style setup, this experience will give you the tools and inspiration to create impactful decorations.

  • Class Duration: 4.5 hours
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Required Skills: fine motor skills, okay to work with balloons; please be aware that these balloons contain latex.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

    Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
