Create character texture maps and learn the user interface, how to manipulate UV maps and 3d models, and the basic workflow of creating textures with Substance 3D Painter.
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. Please provide your email when you register to participate. You will receive an email from your event host with a link to access Zoom before the event. You can also view and join virtual events through attend.ocls.info/myevents.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets is required. A webcam and microphone are suggested for full participation. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography, or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.
*Please note: Substance 3D Painter is a paid subscription and it is recommended but not required to attend. Melrose Center members have access to computer workstations with Substance 3D Painter.
