Crochet a unique bandana for your pet. You'll create an adorable, customizable piece in size and color. Perfect to style your furry friend or gift something handmade with love.

  • Class Duration: 2 hours
  • Age Requirements: 13-Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet Level 1 & 2
  • Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project: 

  • Pattern will be provide: You & Pup Matching Crochet Kerchiefs From Yarninspiration
  • Yarns: 3 skeins of yarn # 4 in different colors - (Solids colors: 7 oz/198 g; 364 yds/333)
  • Hook: Size H-8 (5 mm)

Level Description
Beginner Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
Confident Beginner Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
Intermediate Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
Advanced Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
