Join Seniors First for a celebration of their 60th birthday and exhibition of artwork created by Senior clients as part of the virtual program, Project Connect.

Project Connect is a virtual program tasked with the mission to connect our Senior clients and fight social isolation. Next to hunger and malnutrition, isolation and depression are the biggest threats to the health and well-being of our senior citizens. Senior First's program offers their Meals on Wheels clients opportunities to connect through virtual classes, presentations, games and more using the tablet provided by Seniors First! The fabulous pieces you see are part of our virtual Art Club. Led by a Seniors First volunteer, this club allows space for the clients to be creative, hone their painting skills and converse with friends.

South Trail Branch is located in the Orange Blossom Center, a shopping center next to numerous multi-family housing units. It is a welcoming and colorful library full of sunshine and a popular spot for children and families.

South Trail Branch began in 1965 as the Fort Gatlin Branch at 105 Gatlin Avenue and moved to the corner of Holden Avenue and South Orange Blossom Trail in 1981. The move across the street to the current site in the Orange Blossom Center took place in 1996.
