Vive Mars CamTrack - FizTrack - Unreal Engine
This workshop offers a hands-on guide to calibrating, connecting, and synchronizing a virtual camera with a real-world camera using the Vive Mars CamTrack system and Unreal Engine.
What you will learn:
- Virtual Production intro: Quick intro/discussion into the world of virtual production and LED walls.
- System setup: Connect the Vive Mars hub, Base Stations, and Rover unit, and establish the network connection to your PC.
- Unreal Engine integration: Add Vive Mars as a Live Link source and ensure tracking data is being received reliably.

Camera and lens calibration:
- Learn how to use the Mars Calibration Kit and accompanying Camera Calibration Tool to capture lens distortion.
- Create a reusable lens file asset within Unreal Engine based on your captured data.
- Calibrate the crucial nodal point offset for accurate parallax.
- Workflow optimization: Master essential tips and tricks for reducing latency, performing a one-click origin reset, and maintaining a robust connection.
- Advanced features: Explore how to integrate lens encoder data (FIZ) for enhanced real-time control

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
