Beautiful designs are created when stitches are applied layer by layer and a pattern emerges. Learn step by step how to mark and hand sew to form the geometric design. Suggested pre-requisite: basic hand sewing skills.
The Tortoise Shell pattern is a beginner pattern which will showcase the running stitch and Kuguri-sashi weaving.
We provide materials and fabric for your first time taking this class. If you choose to bring your own fabric and notions, the suggested materials are:

Required Skills: Participants must be able to thread a needle, hand sew using the running stitch
