Learn the basics of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in this 6-Day series. This class prepares students for the upcoming FIRST robotics season, but any students 9th - 12th grade can attend.
Students will learn how to design and assemble objects in a 3D modeling environment, Autodesk Fusion 360. Before the first day of the class, please make sure your student has signed up for Fusion educational license(must be in high school) using the guide linked here, choosing institution type as high school: https://youtu.be/rVJ_w5qoiXY
Classroom computers with required software will be provided for use during class time. Students will login using the created Autodesk Fusion 360 account.

The Chickasaw Branch is the newest addition to the Orange County Library System. It is located in east Orange County on North Chickasaw Trail near the corner of Valencia College Lane. The branch is minutes away from several educational institutions (including elementary and middle schools and Valencia College) making it a popular spot for students of all ages. This library boasts several unique features including a pebble chime, modern architectural awnings and two outdoor decks where the community can relax and enjoy our great Florida weather. Opened on July 18, 2015, the Chickasaw Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
