Contribute your crochet and knitting talents to the annual Yarnfiti Community Art Project. Join us in crafting an undersea paradise out of yarn complete with undersea plants, animals and corals.
The Yarnfiti Community Arts Project is a collaborative event where individuals contribute pieces to the overall project. This year's installation will be unveiled at the Fall Fiber Festival on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 1 p.m.
Note: This project is not gauge specific, feel free to bring your favorite yarn with needles/hooks two sizes smaller than indicated for the yarn's weight.

Note: Basic knitting skills (reading a pattern, casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and binding off) and/or basic crochet skills (reading a pattern, slip knot, chaining, and single crochet) are necessary to start this project.

West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center is located in the historic city of Ocoee near the intersection of Silver Star and Clark Roads. The branch opened in August 2001 and was designed by Harvard, Jolly, Clees, Toppe Architecture Firm. West Oaks Branch provides exceptional library services to the nearly 50,000 residents of Ocoee and surrounding areas. In January 2015, the branch became the new Genealogy Center for Orange County, housing a collection of over 30,000 genealogy books. The Library is the official repository of the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The construction of West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center was funded by the Library System and a Florida Library Construction Grant.
