An engaging look at over 100 years of national census records. Perfect for intermediate researchers, with plenty for beginners too!
No, your ancestor’s name wasn’t changed at Ellis Island—it was probably just misspelled by a tired census taker. From 1850 to 1950, the U.S. Census captured juicy details that can crack your family history wide open. This session dives into each decade's quirks, surprises, and secrets, helping you spot gold in those old forms—and laugh at the wild handwriting along the way.
Because even your great-grandpa fibbed to the census!
