Join us to discuss Tess Gerritsen's The Spy Coast, the first in her "Martini Club" series. This series is often described as a cross between a cozy, character-driven mystery set in a Maine seaside town and a gritty espionage thriller. Retired CIA agents facing dangers from their past are the featured characters.

For ages 18 and up. Registration required. 

Meet New York Times bestselling author Tess Gerritsen in-person at the 19th Annual Southwest Author Series where she is the featured author on Friday, April 24, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Book sale and signing to follow. Presented in partnership with the Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips. This event is free. About the branch

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
