Create stylish macrame feather earrings with this beginner’s macrame project! Recommended for ages 13-18. Registration required.

  • Class Duration: 1 hour
  • Age Requirements: 13-18
  • Recommended Prerequisite Class: None
  • Required Skills: Ability to measure with a ruler and cut with scissors, basic knot tying, fine motor skills for manipulating jewelry pieces

Materials will be provided from a limited selection.

Optional: Students can choose to bring their own cord for color preference, like Loops & Threads cord. It should be cord, not yarn, and the cord should easily unravel at the ends for fringe.

About the branch

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
