LEGO® Education Spike™ Essentials: Carnival Games
Summer at Your Library

Learning Cube - Second FloorConstruct, play and improve carnival games with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essentials. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.
Students will:
- Follow instructions to build games
- Program the components to bring your games to life
- Playtest and improve the user experience of your games
Required Skills: 1st-grade reading and writing level, keyboard and mouse proficiency
*For the safety and comfort of children, a responsible adult or caregiver must accompany children 10 years of age or younger while they are using the Library. If there is available space, you are welcome to join your child in class. If not, or you would rather not join class, you must wait within view of classroom door.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
