Tinkercad for Beginners
Summer at Your Library

Windermere Branch
Windermere - Ask at DeskLearn 3D design with Tinkercad by creating and transforming digital shapes. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.
Students will:
- Explore the Tinkercad 3D interface
- Learn to move, rotate, and scale objects in 3 dimensions
- Create a basic 3D model
Required Skills: 1st-grade reading and writing level, keyboard and mouse proficiency, including clicking, holding, and dragging with the left and right mouse buttons, scrolling the middle mouse wheel, and selecting small objects.
Recommended Skills: N/A
Prerequisite Class: N/A
* For children’s safety and comfort, a responsible adult/caregiver must accompany children age 10 and under while using the library. Caregivers may join the class if space allows; otherwise, they must wait within view of the classroom door.

Windermere Branch
Located in a small “Florida Cracker” style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
