Pibbles and Company Exotic Animal Advocacy was started by Alex and Joscelyn when they unexpectedly received their first skunks, Scribbles and Pixie, in 2022. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to the rescue and rehabilitation of misunderstood wildlife, including opossums, rabbits, skunks and more. Located in a small “Florida Cracker” style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
