Build and program machines with LEGO® Education SPIKE™. Join us on a Great Adventure as we discover STEAM concepts, use creative problem solving, and tell stories.

  • Class Duration: 1 Hour
  • Age Requirements: 6-12*
  • Required Skills: 1st Grade Reading and Writing Level, Keyboard Mouse and Touchscreen Proficiency
  • Recommended Skills: Experience using a web browser, Experience building with LEGO
  • Prerequisite Class: None

*For the safety and comfort of children, a responsible adult or caregiver must accompany children 10 years of age or younger while they are using the Library. If there is available space, you are welcome to join your child in class. If not, or you would rather not join class, you must wait within view of classroom door.

Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
