This 8-week course explores scene elements and introduces students to short-form improv games. Build necessary performance skills to elevate scenes, characters and storytelling.
Improv is a performing art and a skill used for team building, leadership, and communication. Students learn to listen, react authentically, and perform without a script, writing, directing, and editing their performance as they go. Each Improv series is free for Orange County property owners, taxpayers & Fee Card holders with an active Orange County Library card.
Class Duration: 3 hours
Age Requirements: Adult, Teens 14+
Recommended Prerequisite: Improv Two or equivalent Improv experience

The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
