Learning Cube - Second FloorCreate a charming bunny-shaped basket with us, worked in the round using single crochet stitches. This project is perfect for home décor, gifts, or simply enjoying a relaxing and creative experience.
- Class Duration: 2 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet in the Round
- Required Skills: Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: Free Lily Sugar'n Cream Hoppy Easter Crochet Bunny Basket Pattern | Yarnspirations Please Note: Students must bring a printed copy of the pattern or be able to access it on a mobile device.
- Yarn: Lily® Sugar’n Cream™ (2.5 oz/70.9 g; 120 yds/109 m)
Contrast A Jute (00082) 3 balls or 310 yds/283.5 m
Contrast B Ecru (00004) 1 ball or 55 yds/50 m
Contrast C Rose Pink (00046) 1 ball or 50 yds/46.5 m - Hooks: Sizes U.S. E/4 (3.5 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook or size needed

- 1 pair of 6 mm plastic safety eyes

The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
