This class is a 4-part series, held on Tuesdays, September 5 & 26, October 10 & 31. Basic knitting skills are required.
Take your knitting to the next level while knitting Purl Soho's Bobble Sheep pattern. The pattern is full of interesting techniques such as bobble stitch, Provisional cast-on, picking up stitches, working on double pointed needles, working in the round, and more!.
Class Duration: 4 parts, 1.75 hours per part
Age Requirements: 18+
Recommended Prerequisite: Basic Knitting Skills are required.
Required Skills: Cast on, knit, bind off
Materials Fee: None
Materials (Instructor will email a a link to the pattern and finalized materials list prior to the class date).
Required Materials: Student must bring the following materials:
Main Yarn:
300 yards of worsted weight yarn
Contrast Yarn:
100 yards of size 3 yarn (light worsted/sport)
Knitting Needles:
US 9 (5.5 mm) or the recommended needle size for your main yarn, 16- or 24-inch circular needles
A set of US 9 or the recommended needle size for your main yarn double pointed needles
A set of US 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles or the recommended needle size for your contrast yarn
Other Supplies:
Stitch markers, including one unique
Poly-fil Stuffing
Scrap yarn in a worsted weight and a crochet hook to match (for provisional cast on)
