Online Class: Sewing - Chelsea Raglan Top/Tunic (3-Day)

Intermediate Level

Add to your Spring wardrobe with a raglan sleeves blouse or tunic while polishing your sewing skills. Students are required to print a digital pattern for this class.

• Day 1: pattern review and cutting fabric.
• Day 2: Sewing back and front pieces, make bias tape.
• Day 3: Sewing neck, sleeves and hem

Materials Needed:

• 1.5 to 2 yards of fabric - Linen, light weight cotton, cotton blend.
• Thread to Match
• Sewing machine, measuring tape/ruler, water soluble marker or chalk, fabric scissors, fabric pins, etc.
• painter's tape to mark pieces.

Before Class:

• We will be using a digital pattern provided by Fabric-Store.com. Register on the website to download the pattern: https://fabrics-store.com/sewing-patterns/chelsea-linen-raglan-tee-pattern
• Calculate size and print pattern, tape together.

You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host. A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.  

• Class Duration: 3 days, 2 hours each day
• Age Requirements: 13 and up, Adults
• Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine and Sewing: Patterns and Fabric
• Required Skills: Students must be able to proficiently use a standard sewing machine.
