MakeCode Arcade: Code a Game

Learn how to code and create a shark attack game with Microsoft MakeCode Arcade! Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

Students will:

• Use logic to describe what we want a program to do
• Create our game/program using visual scripting
• Playtest and bugfix our code

Required Skills: 1st Grade Reading and Writing Level, Keyboard and Mouse Proficiency

* For children’s safety and comfort, a responsible adult/caregiver must accompany children age 10 and under while using the library. Caregivers may join the class if space allows; otherwise, they must wait within view of the classroom door.
