Technology ClassroomStart summer fun and free with this fruity pin made from felt and beads. This class is recommended for adults.
- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Embroidery Level 1 & 2
Note: Beginning embroidery skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to embroidery? Check out the Fiber Arts Lib Guide.
Suggested Materials: Students may choose to bring the following materials to complete the project*:
- Craft Felt - 1 or 2 sheets, fruit colors! strawberry red, pineapple yellow, etc
- Embroidery Floss - fruit accent colors - pineapple brown, strawberry seeds white, etc
- Pin backs or safety pins - like Pin Backs
- Seed beads - optional, like Seed Beads
- Mini Craft Eye beads - also optional, like Craft Eyes
Note: Materials are available from a limited selection. Students are encouraged to bring their own materials in the event that the project is not completed within the class time.

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
