Technology ClassroomHave fun playing games that can help you speed up your typing skills and learn how to position your hands on the keyboard like a pro! Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.
Students will:
- Learn efficient keyboard techniques
- Master the Home Keys and locate the Number Pad
- Practice your typing skills
Required Skills: 1st Grade Reading and Writing Level, Keyboard and Mouse Proficiency.
* For children’s safety and comfort, a responsible adult/caregiver must accompany children age 10 and under while using the library. Caregivers may join the class if space allows; otherwise, they must wait within view of the classroom door.

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
