Make a Pop-Up Card

Technology ClassroomPop-up cards are fun for all occasions. Learn how to cut and fold a pop-up card. Decorate the card for a pop of color. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.
Students will:
- Learn how to fold and cut a pop-up card
- Decorate the card using crayons
Required Skills:
- Fine motor control for actions such as writing and handling yarn or fabric
- Hand-eye coordination for actions such cutting and folding
* For children’s safety and comfort, a responsible adult/caregiver must accompany children age 10 and under while using the library. Caregivers may join the class if space allows; otherwise, they must wait within view of the classroom door.
Southwest Branch
Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
