Online Fiber Arts ClassroomCreate a beautiful cabled bookmark. Learn how to use a cable needle to create right and left leaning cables, while practicing pattern reading and beginning knitting techniques.
- Class Duration: 2 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Knit Level 2
- Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Yarn: Size 4/medium weight yarn
- Needles: Size US 8 (5.0 mm)
- Cable needle
- Ring/round stitch markers
Note: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to knitting? Check out Let's Knit Level 1.

| Advanced | Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects. |
