In this fun, hands-on class, students engrave a name or message on an acrylic piece. Then they’ll put it together on a colorful LED base and take home a bright, heartfelt gift for Mother’s Day!

Audience: All ages welcome, but younger children may require assistance from their caregiver.  All children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
Recommended Prerequisite: None
Required Skills: Basic computer skills
Materials Fee:  $5
Out of District Fee:  $15

Your registration is not finalized until the materials fee has been paid. To secure a seat today, please call 407.835.7323 or visit your local library to make payment and complete your registration. Materials fees are non-refundable.  If you are unable to attend the class, you may pick up your materials to complete the project on your own time within one month of class date.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
