Crea un proyecto de costura divertido. Aprenda a unir retazos de tela para crear un patrón divertido y realizar puntadas decorativas mientras cose una hermosa cesta para su mesa o cuarto de costura.

Esta clase es una serie, que se llevará a cabo  el lunes, 7, 14 & 21 de abril a las 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  • Duración de Clase: 3 partes, 2 horas por parte
  • Requisitos de Edad:13-Adulto con Exención de Laboratorio de Costura completa, 11-12 con un adulto supervisor y Exención de Laboratorio de Costura completa
  • Prerrequisito Recomendado: Introducción a la Máquina de Coser y Costura - Patrones y Tejidos
  • Destrezas Requeridas: Alguien que puede coser costuras rectas y curvas manteniendo un margen de costura constante, puede enhebrar una máquina estándar y enrollar una bobina, tiene un conocimiento básico de diferentes tipos de telas y ha completado varios proyectos.
  • Costo de Materiales: Ninguno
  • Costa Para Estudiante Fuera del Distrito: $20 (incluye clases y costo de materiales)

Los materiales Requeridos: Los estudiantes deben traer los siguientes materiales para completar el proyecto:

  • Tejidos Recomendados: mezclas de algodón, quilting cotton.
  • Tela Exterior: Diversos Retazos de tela que combinen entre si o un ¼ de yarda
  • Tela Interior: ¼ de yarda (45" de ancho) 
  • 1/4 de yarda de Pellon Fusible Flecee (987F)
  • 1/2 yarda de Pellon Shape Flex 101
  • Hilo
  • Bobina compatible con máquinas de coser Singer

Nivel Descripción
Principiante Alguien ha usado una máquina de coser antes, pero puede necesitar ayuda para enhebrar la máquina y puede necesitar práctica adicional para mantener un margen de costura uniforme.
Principiante Confiado Alguien que puede coser costuras rectas y curvas manteniendo un margen de costura constante, puede enhebrar una máquina estándar y enrollar una bobina, tiene un conocimiento básico de diferentes tipos de telas y ha completado varios proyectos.
Intermedio Alguien que se sienta cómodo trabajando y enhebrando máquinas de coser, cosiendo patrones con marcas y anotaciones, comprenda los tipos de telas y las interfaces, y tenga experiencia en el uso de una variedad de herramientas, nociones y prensatelas.
Avanzado Alguien que se sienta cómodo trabajando y enhebrando tanto máquinas de coser como remalladora, patrones de costura con marcas y anotaciones, que comprenda los tipos de telas tejidas y de punto y las interfaces, y que tenga experiencia en el uso de una amplia variedad de herramientas, nociones y prensatelas.

About the branch

LYNX Bus Link 41 State Road 436

North Orange Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1950, and was replaced by a branch in 1964. Moving to the Palm Plaza Shopping Center in 1969, the branch occupied a 3500 square foot space there for twenty years. In 1989 the branch moved to its present 12,000 square foot facility. As the name implies, North Orange Branch serves the areas of Apopka, Plymouth, Zellwood, Tangerine, and environs.
