Learn basic hand embroidery techniques as you stitch a unique design onto the cover of your very own gratitude journal. Recommended for ages 13-18.
No prior experience is needed – just bring your creativity! Participants will need to be able to handle embroidery needles and floss without assistance.
By the end of the program, you’ll have a personalized journal to fill with reflections, memories, and moments of thankfulness.

The Hiawassee Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1962 and was first known as the Pine Hills Library. In later moves the branch became the West Colonial branch and in March 2000, Hiawassee. In early 2010, the Hiawassee Branch moved to a new home near the corner of Hiawassee Road and West Colonial Drive in the Highland Lakes shopping plaza.
