- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Embroider Level 1
- Required Skills: Ability to hoop fabric, thread a needle, execute running and back stitches.
Suggested Materials: Students can choose to bring the following materials to complete the project:
- 1 sheet of soft craft felt (front color, Valentines/seasonal color recommended)
- 1 sheet of stiff craft felt (for backing/sturdiness, any color)
- Embroidery Needle
- Cotton Embroidery Floss (match or contrast to felt)
Note: Fabric and materials are provided from a limited selection.

About the branch
Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
