Sashiko hand sewing is a Japanese style hand sewing technique using the simple running stitch. Beautiful designs are created when stitches are applied layer by layer and a pattern emerges. Learn step by step how to mark and hand sew to form the geometric design. We will discuss materials, processes and practice basic techniques for getting started with Sashiko.
