Technology ClassroomCraft some cute accessories for the season with felt and easy embroidery stitches.
- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: None
- Required Skills: Ability to cut with scissors
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- Printed Handout - to be sent the week of class
- Craft Felt - a variety of colors (orange for pumpkins/leaves, etc)
- Chenille embroidery Needle
- Earring and/or necklace notions (Earrings: Posts or Hooks, Necklace clasps)
- Embroidery Floss (seasonal colors to go with felt)
- Scissors

About the branch
Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
