Make a felt fairy friend for display in our Yarnfiti Community Project: Enchanted Forest! Best for ages 10+. This program is intended for families, whatever family means to you.

  • Class Duration: 1 hour
  • Age Requirements: Families, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Materials: Materials will be provided for this class!

We will be hand sewing a fairy with felt, so be ready to thread a needle and sew a simple running stitch!

About the branch

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
