Technology ClassroomStart learning how to knit together ! Knitting for families focuses on basic techniques while and muscle memory. Techniques include casting on, the knit stitch and binding off.

- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Optional Materials: Materials are provided for this class. Students may bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Yarn: Size 4/medium weight yarn in two colors
- Needles: Size 8 (5.0 mm) needles

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
