Join the Southwest Library for a walk outdoors at Shadow Bay Park followed by discussion of The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton. Born during a powerful hurricane, an unusual woman in a rapidly changing world, loses family, gains community, and ultimately seeks adventure, love and purpose in a place abandoned by civilization and remade by nature.
Please meet at 10:00 AM at the Shadow Bay Park located at 5100 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando 32819. Do not come to the library. Park and gather near the playground (next to the exercise equipment area).
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Feel free to bring water and a light snack. Exercise your mind and body!
