Sewing Bootcamp - Purses and Clutches (12-Part)

Fiber Arts Studio - Second FloorStart sewing today! In this bootcamp enhance your sewing skills while creating purses and clutches featured in the books Bags by Anna Alicia and School of Sewing by Shea Henderson.
Class series runs Wednesdays, April 12-June 28 from 3:30pm-5:30pm
Projects include: Fold-over Clutch, Contrast Clutch, Curved Purse, and Circle Shoulder Bag from Bags by Anna Alicia and the Pleated Purse from School of Sewing by Shea Henderson. For projects students must bring materials. Material lists are available prior to class via email or will be provided during class prior to the start each project.
- Class Duration: 12 parts, 2 hours each part
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing Bootcamp - Bags and Totes
- Required Skills: Confident Beginner Level sewists can sew straight and curved seams while keeping a consistent seam allowance. They can thread sewing machines and wind a bobbin. Confident Beginners have a basic understanding of different fabric types, including interfacing, and have completed several projects.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
