Sewing - Herringbone Table Runner (4-Part)

Fiber Arts Studio - Second FloorThis table runner was designed for fall, but can be adapted into any color scheme. It goes together quickly and would be a fun project. Students are required to bring fabric.
We provide the pattern from Pellon Projects.
- Class Duration: 2 Hours each session, 4 sessions
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
- Required Skills: Students must be able to proficiently use a standard sewing machine, use a serger, adjust tension properly, read patterns and cut fabric.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $40
Students are required to bring materials:
- 1/2 yard each of eleven fabrics (Quilting Cotton)
- Backing - One 18” x 58“ rectangle
- Binding - One 2-1/4” x 165“ strip (Binding can be made from strips of fabric)
- 100% Cotton Batting - 20" x 60"

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
