Get ready for your next dinner party with your very own Placemat and Matching Napkins! We will be using straight stitching and turning out techniques.

Materials Needed:

  • 1 yd for top fabric (Fabric A)
  • 1 yd for bottom fabric (Fabric B)
  • (Makes 4 placemats)
  • Batting
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
  • Fabric marker that won’t show through your fabric
  • thread

Cutting Instructions:

  • 4 - 14" x 19" placemat tops
    4 - 14" x 19" placemat bottoms
  • Class Duration: 2 hours
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
  • Required Skills: Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams and cut fabric.
