Learning comes alive! Explore the world through crafts, experiments, and hands-on activities. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Become a color detective, as you hone your hue awareness to investigate a crime of rainbow proportions. Puzzle your way through a color fog to catch the bad dye. 

Children will broaden their knowledge of color, light, and digital color terminology, while observing a variety of colors. They will use this information to help them solve a color mystery.

About the branch

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
