Technology ClassroomSimple chicken ornaments are a quick project to practice knitting the knit stitch. Learn how to apply new knitting skills while stitching a cute chicken ornament.

Required Skills: cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Yarn(s):
- scrap amount of worsted weight yarn for the body
- scrap amount of worsted weight yarn for the accents
- scrap amount of worsted weight yarn for the body
- Needles(s): knitting needles 2 sizes smaller than the recommended needle size for your yarn.
Note: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to knitting? Check out Let's Knit Level 1.
