Melrose Classroom - Second FloorJoin us and create a third-person character while learning the UE5 editor interface, Blueprint basics, third-person character setup, and the Enhanced Input System.

Part 1: Unreal Engine Fundamentals - Monday, June 22, 2-3:30 p.m.
Create a development environment and learn the Unreal Engine's interface, how to manipulate and edit game objects, and the basic workflow for creating video games with Unreal.
Part 2: Unreal: Blueprint Programming Basics - Tuesday, June 23, 2-3:30 p.m.
Create a program that controls the movements of a game object when changing input values at runtime in Unreal with Blueprints.
Part 3: Unreal: Third-Person Blueprint Programming - Wednesday, June 24, 2-3:30 p.m.
Create a program to manipulate a third-person game's point of view with input values, and learn the core concepts around developing a third-person game.
Part 4: Unreal: Enhanced Input System Blueprint Programming - Thursday, June 25, 2-3:30 p.m.
Set up the Enhanced Input System to collect input values from an input device and trigger a game character's locomotion behaviors.
Part 5: Unreal: Character Animations Blueprint - Monday, June 29, 2-3:30 p.m.
Animate the game's character with animation blueprints.
Part 6: Unreal: UI Basics- Tuesday, June 30, 2-3:30 p.m.
Learn how to use Unreal's UI tools and Blueprint to create a user interface for your game.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
