Color a digital coloring sheet and learn how to work with Layers, Move and Transform Tools, and Painting Tools. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

Students will: 

  • Explore the GNU Image Manipulation Program 
  • Assemble a scene with layers and transform tools 
  • Paint a scene 

Required Skills: 1st Grade Reading and Writing Level, Keyboard and Mouse Proficiency.  
 
*For their safety, children 10 and under must have a caregiver in the Library. You’re welcome to join your child in class if space allows, or wait just outside where you can see the classroom door.

About the branch

LYNX Bus Link 15 Curry Ford Road / Valencia College East

Chickasaw Branch is the newest addition to Orange County Library System. It is located in east Orange County on North Chickasaw Trail near the corner of Valencia College Lane. The branch is minutes away from several educational institutions (including elementary and middle schools and Valencia College) making it a popular spot for students of all ages. This library boasts several unique features including a pebble chime, modern architectural awnings and two outdoor decks where the community can relax and enjoy our great Florida weather. Opened on July 18, 2015, Chickasaw Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
