Create a Photo-Based Comic Book Camp
Monday, June 15
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Orlando Public Library
Melrose Conference Room - Second FloorIn this five-day camp, teens will learn how to create their own photo-based comic book while exploring the fundamentals of visual storytelling.
Over the course of the camp, participants will develop an original story, plan their scenes using storyboards, and use cameras to capture the images that will bring their narrative to life.
Along the way, teens will gain hands-on experience with creative tools and techniques used in digital media production. They will learn how to edit and enhance their photos in Adobe Photoshop and design professional comic book page layouts in Adobe InDesign. By combining writing, photography, and design, participants will transform their ideas into a finished comic book that tells a complete story through images and text.
This camp is perfect for teens interested in storytelling, photography, graphic design, or comic creation, and it offers a fun, collaborative environment where creativity and technical skills come together.
