Assemble a functional Halloween themed desk clock from laser cut and engraved parts, creating a spooky handmade timepiece to take home. (Ghosts and batteries not included.)
Class duration: 2 hours
Age Requirements: 15+ - Adult. Please note that due to the materials and assembly work needed for this project, no participants under the age of 15 are permitted in this workshop.
Recommended Prerequisite: None
Required Skills: Fine motor skills and the ability to follow assembly instructions. Please note that this project requires the use of glue and adhesives.
Materials Fee: $4.00 Registration for this event is not complete until the materials fee has been collected. Refunds are not available but all materials will be provided to registered students unable to attend the class.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
