Online Fiber Arts ClassroomGet ready for spooky season with a customizable witch hat! Students will use single, double, and triple crochet to whip up a crocheted accessory perfect for October.
This class is a series, held on Wednesdays, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 10:00am - 11:30am.
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.

Required Skills: Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
- Materials Fee: None
Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: Sunflower Witch Hat - Crochet Pattern ~ Crafty Kitty Crochet
- Yarns: About 250 yards of Size 6 Super Bulky yarn (or two strands of Size 4 Medium yarn held together) in any color for witch hat, as well as any other yarn desired to make decorations.
- Hooks: 8mm crochet hook and 5mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
- Optional: Tulle, applique, beads, feathers, etc. for decorating the finished hat
