Have fun and learn while you mix, pour, spread, and decorate one of the most popular and irresistible traditional desserts from many Latin American countries. Recommended for ages 3 to 5 years.
Its name means "three milks" and it is a cake soaked in a sweet mixture of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk, and then covered with whipped cream or meringue. Although it is a Latin American dessert that spreads across several countries, its origin is the subject of debate as it is claimed by Nicaragua and Mexico at the same time.
Food will be served at this event; please tell staff about specific needs concerning food allergies.

LYNX Bus Link 104 East Colonial
Alafaya Branch has a long history of providing library services to the East Orange County community. The branch originally opened in 1965 as the Azalea Park branch, situated on Lake Barton Road. From the 1970s through the 1990s the branch provided library services from shopping center locations. Ground was broken in January 1999 for a new branch, designed to be the prototype branch for future Orange County Library System branches. Opened on February 1, 2000, Alafaya Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
