Join us as we continue our series examining horror cinema by exploring the history of Folk Horror cinema and literature. Recommended for ages 18 and up. Registration required.
In this program, we will briefly touch on the basics from the introductory presentation, Why Horror Cinema Matters. From there, we'll explore the cultural changes that inspired what would become known as Folk Horror. We will discuss the origins of the term, why there’s a current renaissance, and why witches, goblins, and demons have always been with us.
