Crochet African Flower Crab (3 Parts)

Practice the African Flower square with this adorable little sea friend who could brighten up a bookshelf, join a toy box, or help hold sewing pins!

• Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes each session
• Age Requirements: Adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet In the Round
• Required Skills: Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
• Materials Fee: None
• Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)

Required Materials: Students will need the following materials to complete the project: 

• Pattern: Cedric Crab
• Yarns: About 100 yards of either medium size 4 yarn or light size 3 (dk) yarn in red and yellow (or any colors desired) 
• Hooks: Either 3.0mm or 4.0mm depending on yarn size chosen
• Polyfil or other stuffing
• Pipe cleaners (at least 10) 
• 6mm safety eyes, buttons, or yarn to create eyes
• Black embroidery thread and needle to create mouth 
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Optional: tights or hose to hold polyfil
