Windermere - Ask at DeskStart crocheting today! Learn basic techniques while creating your first project, a bookmark for your favorite read. Techniques include creating a slip knot, chaining, and single crochet stitches.

- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult

- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Optional Materials: Materials are provided for this class. Students may bring the following optional materials to complete the project:
- Yarn: Size 5/bulky weight yarn preferably in pastel/light colors to better see stitches
- Hook: Size L-11 (8 mm)

Windermere Branch
Located in a small “Florida Cracker” style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
